Salsa is the Spanish word for “sauce.” Salsa can be spicy or mild, sweet or sour, and we have been eating it for more than 2,000 years.
INGREDIENTS
- 2 Tomatoes
- Juice of 1 Lime
- 1 Tablespoon of ripped Cilantro
- 1 medium Onion, chopped
- 1 teaspoon of Garlic, chopped
- ½ Green Pepper
- Tortilla Chips
DIRECTIONS
- Chop ½ of a tomato
- Roll lime on cutting board, squeezing the juice, then cut in half
- Take ½ of lime and squeeze juice into red bowl. Watch out for seeds!
- Wash cilantro in cool water, then pick off leaves. Chop leaves
- Peel onion, wait for onion to be stabilized, then chop in half
- Peel garlic, then dice
- Cut green pepper in half, then chop
Serve with tortilla chips
