July Horse Camp: Thursday

Welcome back to Day 4 of Horse Camp! Throughout the week we’ve been covering different aspects of horse anatomy. Today, We did a bit of reviewing. We used our horse friend, Max, to demonstrate and name the different features of a horse’s body. When campers were done reviewing, they were able to take paint to the horse’s body and create some art work all over him! Max was loving it since it felt like he was getting massaged and having his “nails” painted. When painting was done, he was given a bath to remove the washable paints.

While the other campers waited their turn for the horse painting and anatomy review, they worked on making picture frames to take home at the end of the week. Once dry, they’ll attach a photo that was taken of them during their time here at Tollgate.
