Kinder-Garden Camp 2013: Week 1, Day 4

Hello!

Today was another great day at camp!

We got to explore by the pond today! We saw lots of geese, a swan, and lots of different bugs. Some of us even found a turtle!

We planned for our scarecrows today to figure out what we want them to look like.

Today in garden kitchen we made pita chips, veggies, and hummus. Our hummus was so good!

Garden Kitchen Recipes

Veggie People & Hummus

Fresh green beans

Carrots

Broccoli

Squash

Radishes

Celery

Cherry Tomatoes

1 can of chickpeas

Olive oil

Salt

1 Garlic clove

 

Wash green beans. Wash & peel carrots to create hair. Wash broccoli. Wash squash. Wash radishes. Wash celery. Wash cherry tomatoes. Open chickpeas with can opener. Pour chickpeas in food processor. Add 1 tbsp of olive to food processor. Unwrap and add one garlic clove. Pulse food processor until smooth. Use hummus and veggies to create people!
