MSU Tollgate Farm is pleased to be hosting an AmeriCorps member serving as 4-H SPecial INterest club coordinator. During the coming year, Samantha Stokes will be working throughout Oakland county to organize and implement SPIN Clubs focused on engaging youth with hands-on science, technology, engineering, interactive art, and math learning experiences.
These clubs are designed to meet a total 6-8 times for only 1-2 hours, and therefore are perfect for the busy family. They also are designed so that they can be hosted at a variety of sites including schools, libraries, community centers, county parks, and farms. Details about each available club will be offered as volunteers and site locations are finalized.
