Advanced Eco-Challenge Camp: Part 1

Welcome to Advanced Eco-Challenge Camp! This week at Eco-Challenge Camp, campers will be exposed to the use of new technology to investigate natural science phenomena. Campers will incorporate engineering practices to build and test exciting products together. Through this, participants will gain an understanding of how scientists tackle real-world problems and research questions through the scientific method.

Today 4-H Eco-Challenge continued working on our (Remotely Operated Vehicles) ROV’s. While yesterday we assembled the frame of our ROVs using drills and PVC cutters. Today we built the power unit using wiring and solder.

We also did some initiative games including “All Adrift” where we prioritized items for survival and “Would You Rather”.

We even had time for Garden Kitchen Fruit Kabobs. As wells as visiting the chickens to wrap up the day.
