Green Science Adventure Camp 2013: Week 1, Day 4

Hi everyone! I hope you enjoyed camp today because I sure did.

Today everyone went fishing and a lot of my lucky pepper friends caught fish. Some of us caught fish who even got away!

Everyone was so excited about catching many different types of fish. We caught bluegills, bass, and sunfish!

We even did a little exploring around the water and found some other cool critters!

In garden kitchen we started making our yummy bread and trail mix. We learned all about yeast and how it reacts with other ingredients in bread to make it rise.

We also made seed balls today. Everyone picked out their own seeds to put in their clay mixture to plant.

The Orange Peppers took Rita on their hike in the woods. They put her pack on, which is kind of like a backpack for a llama, to help carry some of her things.

In the afternoon garden kitchen we made smoothies and got to eat our delicious bread and butter! The Peppers agreed that their favorite snack this week was the bread and butter.
