Freshly Picked: Green Garden Dip

The Green Garden Dip is a delicious alternative to ranch dressing. Little peppers will happily help you chop, measure, and peel, so you can enjoy the dip together.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 small clove of garlic
  • 1 cup chopped parsley
  • 4 chopped scallions
  • 15 basil leaves
  • ¾ cup buttermilk
  • 1 ½ cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 6 shakes of salt
  • 1 large carrot & 1 large cucumber

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Smash and chop 1 clove of garlic and place in food processor
  2. Wash and rip 1 cup of parsley and place in food processor
  3. Rip 7 basil leaves and place in food processor
  4. Measure and pour ¾ cup buttermilk into food processor
  5. Measure and spoon 1 ½ cup ricotta cheese into food processor
  6. Measure 1 teaspoon of lemon juice into food processor
  7. Count 6 shakes of salt into food processor
  8. Peel and chop 1 large carrot
  9. Peel and chop 1 large cucumber
  10. Press chop on food processor for 5 seconds

  • ½ cup, 1 cup measuring cups
  • 1 cup liquid measuring cup
  • Salt shaker
  • Paper plates
