Today we went to Walled Lake Outdoor Education Center to begin our fun day of activities.
We began with rock climbing on a climbing wall. A few people reached the top but everyone tried and reached outside of their comfort level.
We went ziplining after. We had to climb up a cargo net to get to a platform where a few people waited until their turn on the zipline. Even Mr. Alan, Ms. Mandy, and Ms. Julie took their turn going down the zipline!
We took a short hike to our boat launch to begin our canoe journey. We learned a lot about teamwork and communication because each person needs to work together to make sure they stay in the middle of the river when canoeing. All of the campers did such a great job!!

My son had a wonderful time at this camp, and he can’t wait to sign up again next summer. The staff was terrific, and I was impressed with all of the activities and opportunities for learning.
